csmith239 This album shows that TAG can do more than upbeat songs. Coming to Terms will make you feel happy, sad and many different emotions. I’m so excited to have been a part of this album with so many talented individuals. I want to thank Mr. Stroh for giving us high school students a chance to express ourselves by doing what we all love. Favorite track: Under Our Bridge.

aidenpfleming The fact that this is the first TAG album I'm a part of blows me away, the fact that I got to sing alongside so many talented individuals is such an honor and the group itself feels like a second family. Yes, this was a change of pace, but the songs in here are still so, so well-picked and amazing when put together, especially the originals. When you listen closely, you can just feel what the person is singing and connect with music. And honestly, every song in here exceeds expectations. Favorite track: The Other Side.

Original Song by Keeley Sawyer Solo - Keeley Sawyer Vocal Percussion - Prabh Saini Arrangement - Tom Anderson I waste my words on someone who doesn't care I don't know why I hate that I try so damn hard Twelve hours away old mem'ries are warped, I wait For something to change As if I could pray it into being okay Like it's all okay Oh I'd rather you be mean than just give me nothing at all Silence isn't peace, this mind palace threatens to fall You're the Sword of Damocles Keep hangin' over me I wish I could say I don't care if you stay But you've got this hold on me It's the pit of lunacy I'm begging the king Don't cut through the string Just let me be free Secrets stain your lips a cherry red I guess I'll never know why you left You've got me thinkin' I'm the one to blame Does that make you feel like it's okay You're the sword of Damocles Keep hangin' over me I wish I could say I don't care if you stay But you've got this hold on me It's the pit of lunacy I'm begging the king Don't cut through the string Just let me be free I'm begging the king Don't cut through the string Just let me be free Written by Keeley Sawyer

Simple Math 04:07
Original Song by Kristen Noble Solo - Kristen Noble Vocal Percussion - Melia Brockington Arrangement - Tom Anderson Charming - you said hello Smiled - little did I know You had baggage, so the story goes Nine months, a million tears Made me realize all my fears In way too deep, how did we get here I know you didn't mean it That's not the way I should be treated I shouldn't have to convince myself that I'm the one you need When two loves overlap I should've seen the red flags Nothing' changes the fact that one plus one should never equal three You shouldn't have jumped so soon Look at what you got yourself into You lie to yourself 'till you trick everyone else Into thinkin' they're happy too You move so fast Got no time to process the past You need control Do anything to fill the hole And then you get attached But baby one plus one is two, it's simple math Ooh Ooooh, Ooh Ooooh, Ooh Ooooh Two-three, love-hate, thin line Love isn't all black and white Why'd you have to be so good sometimes You took a part of me We'd go to bed angry Wake up, you'd make up some apology I know you didn't mean it That's not the way I should be treated I shouldn't have to convince myself I'm the one in your dreams Haunted by your past I should've seen the red flags Nothin' changes the fact that one plus one should never equal three You shouldn't have jumped so soon Look at what you got yourself into You lie to yourself 'till you trick everyone else Into thinkin' they're happy too You move too fast Got no time to process the past You need control Do anything to fill the hole And then you get attached But baby one plus one is two, it's simple math Soon as you put your love on me It brought out thee pain and jealousy Coupled with your past And I made three It don't add up Friends grow apart and you've changed Had to learn that the hard way Was the high worth all the heartbreak You shouldn't have jumped so soon Look at what you got yourself into You lie to yourself 'till you trick everyone else Into thinkin' they're happy too You move so fast Got no time to process the past You need control Do anything to fill the hole And then you get attached But baby one plus one is two, it's simple math Ooh, Ooooh, Ooh Ooooh, Ooh Oooh It's simple math Written by Kristen Noble

Bad Friend 03:26
Solo - Kayah Bonilla-Mas Vocal Percussion - Melia Brockington Arrangement - Tom Anderson Originally Performed by - Rina Sawayama We ran through the bright Tokyo lights, nothing to lose Summer of 2012, burnt in my mind High, crazy and drunk, five in a room Singing our hearts out to Carly, sweat in our eyes Throwing drinks at each other Making fun of our lovers Getting kicked out on the street, oh We were best friends forever But the truth is I'm so good at crashing in Making sparks like this but then I'm a bad, I'm a bad, I'm a bad friend So don't ask me where I've been Been avoiding everything 'Cause I'm a bad, I'm a bad, I'm a bad friend I'm a bad friend, yeah Guess we fell out, what was that all about? Maybe I overreacted, well, maybe you shouldn't have God, it's insane how things can change like that Don't even know where you are What you do and who you do it with, oh Throwing drinks at each other Making fun of our lovers Getting kicked out on the street, oh We were best friends forever But the truth is I'm so good at crashing in Making sparks like this but then I'm a bad, I'm a bad, I'm a bad friend So don't ask me where I've been Been avoiding everything 'Cause I'm a bad, I'm a bad, I'm a bad Put your hands up if you're not good at this stuff Put your hands up if you're not good at this stuff (I'm a bad friend, oh, yeah) Put your hands up if you're not good at this stuff (Maybe I'm a bad friend) I'm so good at crashing in Making sparks like this but then I'm a bad, I'm a bad, I'm a bad friend So don't ask me where I've been Been avoiding everything 'Cause I'm a bad, I'm a bad, I'm a bad I'm so good at crashing in Making sparks like this but then I'm a bad, I'm a bad, I'm a bad friend So don't ask me where I've been Been avoiding everything 'Cause I'm a bad, I'm a bad, I'm a bad friend Written by - Jonny Lattimer, Rina Sawayama

about

Coming to Terms with our new reality is not something we want to have to face, but something that has been brought upon us all. The young couple on the cover of our album Bright had to grow up and face a brand new world. It has been tough for all of us, but we are still dedicated to making music. This album may not feature the “pie in the sky” songs that we have sung in the past, but instead songs that deal with our struggles, heartbreak, and hope. We are still using our standard rubric of picking songs that we like, but this album seems to have a sadder or darker tone. This album is TAG’s chance to share our voice, since we were allowed only one live performance this school year. Not being able to share our love of music was probably the most trying part of the pandemic.

We once again are excited to share new original music with you. Sword of Damocles, Simple Math, and Under our Bridge are written by members of the group with the lead vocals performed by their writers. This tradition of originals in something we are very proud of and we can't wait till you hear these three amazing original songs.
