Stay 03:01
Solo - Ashley Brasile Vocal Percussion - Rocky Castro Arrangement - Deke Sharon Originally Performed by - Lisa Loeb You say I only hear what I want to You say I talk so all the time. So? And I thought what I felt was simple And I thought that I don't belong And now that I am leaving Now I know that I did something wrong 'cause I missed you Yeah, I missed you And you say I only hear what I want to: I don't listen hard I don't pay attention to the distance that you're running to anyone, anywhere I don't understand if you really care I'm only hearing negative: no, no, no So I, I turned the radio on, I turned the radio up And this woman was singin' my song: The lover's in love and the other's run away Lover is crying 'cause the other won't stay Some of us hover when we weep for the other who was Dying since the day they were born Well. Well, this is not that: I think that I'm throwing, but I'm thrown And I thought I'd live forever, but now I'm not so sure You try to tell me that I'm clever But that won't take me anyhow, or anywhere with you You said that I was naive And I thought that I was strong I thought, "Hey, I can leave, I can leave." Oh, but now I know that I was wrong, 'cause I missed you Yeah, I missed you You said you caught me 'cause you want me And one day you'd let me go You try to give away a keeper, or keep me 'cause you know you're just so scared to lose And you say, "Stay." And you say I only hear what I want to Written by - Lisa Loeb

Solo - Chad Graham Vocal Percussion - Blake Shelton Arrangement - Brian Haverkate & Gary Stroh Originally Performed by - Sting You'll remember me when the west wind moves Upon the fields of barley You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky As we walk in fields of gold So she took her love for to gaze awhile Upon the fields of barley In his arms she fell as her hair came down Among the fields of gold Will you stay with me, will you be my love Among the fields of barley We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky As we lie in fields of gold See the west wind move like a lover so Upon the fields of barley Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth Among the fields of gold I never made promises lightly And there have been some that I've broken But I swear in the days still left We'll walk in fields of gold We'll walk in fields of gold Many years have passed since those summer days Among the fields of barley See the children run as the sun goes down Among the fields of gold You'll remember me when the west wind moves Upon the fields of barley You can tell the sun in his jealous sky When we walked in fields of gold When we walked in fields of gold When we walked in fields of gold Written by - Sting

Solo - Chad Graham Arrangement - Gary Stroh Originally Performed by - DaVinci's Notebook All my life I have been searching for the fabled promised land With my sisters and my brothers we shall walk there hand in hand Through the trials and tribulations and the Devil's cruel temptations I know that we will all get there one day After years and years of wandering, oh, the Kingdom we shall find And the doors may not be open, but we'll gather in the line And our hearts will swell with pride the day those gates swing open wide And we take a walk down Main St., USA Oh, that Magic Kingdom in the Sky We will all be there together by and by We will all drink from the fountain and go riding on Space Mountain When we reach that Magic Kingdom in the Sky Where Mother Minnie, Father Dopey and St. Tinkerbell abide There'll be no more cares or sorrows on that heavenly teacup ride I will lay down all my fears when I put on those big black ears And join the choir to sing in harmony We will sing the songs of endless souls who once had gone astray Who were lost but now are found in the electric light parade Singing "Hakuna Matata", growing Mouseketeer stigmata In the only club that's made for you and me Oh, that Magic Kingdom in the Sky We will all be there together by and by All God's children shall be free in Pirates of the Caribbean When we reach that Magic Kingdom in the Sky Oh, the meekest and the poorest, their inheritance shall see And a zillion Japanese tourists all will join the jamboree They will ride that holy monorail into sweet Providence When they know that their redeemer is a mouse in short red pants (Nice pants!) Won't you take me to Orlando, where the sun is shining bright All the angels are clean-shaven, and the people snowy white Where your problems all are hidden, and unhappiness forbidden You'll find salvation for a modest fee Climb into my Winnebago, and if you help with the gas Then we maybe can finagle you a five or six day pass May your afterlife be blessed, just American Express it Let Mastercard and Visa set you free Oh, that Magic Kingdom in the Sky We will all be there together by and by All religions may be practiced there except for Southern Baptist When we reach that Magic Kingdom in the Sky Oh, that Magic Kingdom in the Sky Manufactured by that Uncle Walter guy We'll give thanks to that old geezer, and we'll keep him in the freezer When we reach that Magic Kingdom in the... Reach the Magic Kingdom in the... Reach that Magic Kingdom in the Sky! Written by - Paul Sabourin, Richard Hsu, Greg "Storm" DiCostanzo, Bernie Muller-Thym

2006 Best of High School A Cappella Compilation Selection - "Bring Me to Life"
2006 CARA Award Nominee - Best High School Album
2006 CARA Award Nominee - Best High School Song - "Bring Me to Life"

The second year of TAG brought a great deal of excitement. The success of the first year had instilled high hopes for the members. Those hopes were met when TAG won the National Championship of High School A Cappella Florida State Championship. We were moving on to the semis in Georgia and were out fundraising. We were singing at Barnes & Nobles when a gentleman named Craig Welsh came up to me and asked about the group. I told him what we were doing and that we were having a concert coming up and would love him to attend. He said that he was going back up north before the concert and wouldn't be able to attend but wanted the group info. I gave him a card and he wished us well. Fast forward to the day before Spring Break. I checked my mail box before lunch, as usual, and there was a letter. I opened it and it was a check for $2,500 from Mr. Welsh and a letter saying how impressed he was with the group and that hopefully his donation would help get us to the finals. We ended up finishing 2nd at semifinals and didn't need the money for a trip. We had talked about recording an album, but had no idea how to go about it. Fast forward to our fundraising concert. After the concert, a gentlemen named Rob Robinson came up to me. He told me that he had been dragged to the concert by his wife, who had heard us on the NPR feature on the radio. He said he was blown away by the concert and that he was a recording engineer and would love to record the group. Sometimes, the cards just fall into place. The two of us had no idea how to record an a cappella album, but we did our research and plowed forward. This album was recorded on tape and not with any of the modern technology that we use to record today, and yet, we were able to capture some of the magic of the group. "Bring Me to Life" really put TAG on the map as a high school a cappella group to watch. Those many countless late nights at the studio recording are still clear in my memories and they laid the foundation for the storied recording career of the group. - Gary Stroh, director
